3 Simple steps for cleaning a washing machine

The dirt from some other clothes can steep in your fabrics, causing irritation and skin disruptions. To ensure that your clothes are cleaned, follow these tips for cleaning a washing machine. These tips apply to both front and top-loading machines. Some machines may have a self-clean function, use it and follow the instructions otherwise use this simple hack to remove dirt from hoses and pipes of your machine.

1.Take a mix of hot water and vinegar. Add the solution to the detergent dispense and run it empty on a regular cycle. Don’t worry white vinegar will not harm your washing machine or damage your clothes. Instead, the hot water and vinegar will prevent bacterial growth and remove dirt disposed of in the corner of your machine. Vinegar also acts as a deodorizer and gets rid of odors. 2.Take a quart of warm water in a bucket and mix ¼ vinegar. Use the solution to clean the inside of the machine with the help of a sponge or brush. Pay special attention while cleaning the dispensers. If your soap dispenser is removed, soak it into the vinegar solution for some time. You can even clean the exterior of the machine with this solution.

3. Once you are done with the first cycle of cleanup, run another empty, regular cycle without hot-water and vinegar solution. You can add ½ cup baking soda to the dispenser if you want to get rid of dirt loosened from the first cycle. After the process is complete, wipe out the inside of the dispenser with a microfiber cloth to remove any remaining residue.
