The Colosseum is a holiday destination for Kendrick Lamar and his beloved Whitney Alford. The well-known rapper arrived early in the day with his spouse and family members, but the Colosseum was already crowded with tourists.
Whitney’s early years were spent in Compton.
Whitney was born on May 12, 1986, and raised in the Compton district of southern Los Angeles. Whitney continued on to attend Centennial High, a school like Kendrick’s. Strangely, Dr. Dre is also a past student of the prestigious institution and may wind up coaching Kendrick.
Whitney and Kendrick Are Popular Students in High School
Whitney and Kendrick met at Centennial High when they were only teenagers. They started off as friends, but their friendship soon developed into something more. The pair has kept a very low profile in public; their most notable appearance was at the 56th Grammy Awards in 2014!
Whitney contributed her vocal talents to Kendrick’s popular song
Whitney’s sweet voice contributed to one of Kendrick’s biggest songs. 2015 saw Whitney lay down the backing vocals for “Ruler Kunta” from the To Pimp a Butterfly album. Whitney was supposed to be seen moving her wedding band in the song’s music video. Shortly after the video was released, Kendrick announced that he had proposed.

Kendrick revealed how special his connection with Whitney is back in 2015. He said to Announcement, “That is my dearest pal. “I could do without the label that society has obviously attached my anxiety to on the world.”

After completing her secondary education, Whitney enrolled in the California State College, Long Ocean campus, where she eventually earned a degree in bookkeeping. But not long after she finished school, she also gave up a career in accountancy to pursue her passion for the beauty industry.
