Erica is from New York, but she and her family moved to Palm Beach, Florida, when she was a teenager. She previously worked for the PGA of America, where she rose to the position of Manager of Championship Volunteer Operations in 2011.

Rory and Erica met in 2012 while Erica was working for the PGA in America and he was on tour, despite the fact that they are quite quiet about their personal lives.
According to legend, the Co Down man slept in and would be late for his tee-off. Erica, on the other hand, observed that he had not departed for the course and awoke him; he was then escorted to the course on time by a police officer.
For a long time, Rory and Erica were just friends until romance bloomed.
