Strains on clothes

If your clothes get red stains from your favorite wine all you have to do is to heat half a liter of the white vinegar in a pan. Now tie down the fabric tightly with strain facing towards the bowl/ bucket. Next, pour the heated vinegar over the portion of the fabric strain. Now rinse it with cold water and then let the cloth soaked in leftover vinegar for 20 minutes. After it rinses the cloth once again with cold water and then washes it in the washing machine right away.

Strains on Carpet

To remove our red wine stain from the carpet you have to dab the paper towel at the strain to remove as much possible red wine from the carpet. Then heat up 250ml of vinegar and pour it to spray water. Add half a teaspoon of dish soap to this spray bottle and then mix it properly. Now spray this mixture on the stain, let it absorb for 5 minutes, and then dab the carpet with a clean paper towel. Repeat the same process till the strain get vanished.

Vinegar is also used to bleach clothes, makes white laundry whiter and brighter. For it, you have to make the solution by adding 1/2 cup of vinegar with 1/2 cup of lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon of borax. Mixing all these ingredients properly and add this solution to the washing cycle of your white clothes. 

  • Soften Fabrics

Vinegar can be used to soften the fabric without using harsh fabric softeners made with chemicals. Want to know more? Wash your clothes by adding ½ cup vinegar to the fabric softener compartment of your washing machine just before the last rinse of the clothes.
