What all you’ll be needing to make this tasty recipe for yourself
- 3 small tomatoes (roughly 200 gms)
- dry yeast (half a tablespoon)
- 1 and three by fourth cups and around 2 tablespoons for flour (300 gms)
- 6 spring onions
- 220 gms cream cheese
The Recipe
- The tomatoes are required to be diced into quarters
- Use a hand blender or a mixer to blend them after you’ve added yeast in a mixing bowl
- Now in the bowl of these blended tomatoes, add the flour and mix it well till you can form a ball, then let it have a rest for 15 minutes as it is covered
- After it has been left untouched for about 15 minutes, take the ball out and knead it into a dough
- Allow the dough to rest for another half an hour and then take it on your work area, preferably a granite kitchen counter or a wooden cutting board maybe
- Sprinkle dry flour on the work area before you start working so your dough doesn’t stick to the surface, use a rolling pin to make a thin rectangle out of the dough
- Take the spring onions and chop it into small pieces, then mix it well with the cream cheese, after you’ve had your desired consistency, take the mixture and spread it on the tomato dough
- After evenly spreading the mix over the dough, roll it into a cylinder like a sushi and pack the ends, cut it into pieces of one cm and steam them for about 12-13 minutes.
- Next, take a pan, and heat oil in it, cook the cut pieces for 2-3 minutes
- Best served warm with a salad or dressing of Soya Sauce.
